Swanson Wyatt Lawson, 92, of Pleasant Garden died Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Adams Farm Living and Rehabilitation in Jamestown.

Funeral will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at George Brothers Funeral Service with Reverend Marvin Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Baptist Church Cemetery on Fairfax Road in Greensboro.

Swanson was born in Stokes County to the late James and Sudie Lawson. He retired from Thomasville Furniture.

Along with his parents, Swanson is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth and son, Darrell Lawson.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Lou Collins (Noel) of Ladson, SC, Othenia Scarbrough of Greensboro, Vernon Lawson (Charlene) of Walnut Cove, Fairley Lawson (Linda) of Stoneville, Harrell Lawson (Diane) of Eden, Clayton Lawson of Madison, Kathy Eanes (Bud) of Lexington, and Danny Mabe (Ann) of Stoneville along with a host of friends and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
