Sybil Joanne (Crenshaw) Lowdermilk

Sybil Joanne Crenshaw Lowdermilk, 86, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Gilmore Memorial Park.

Mrs. Lowdermilk was born August 25, 1938 in Alamance County to the late James Carlton Crenshaw and Cleo Parrish Crenshaw.  She graduated from Bessemer High School.

She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Carlton Lowdermilk; and siblings, Doris and Doug.

Mrs. Lowdermilk is survived by her husband of 66 years, Joseph Winburn “Wink” Lowdermilk; sons, Joseph Eric Lowdermilk, and David Winburn Lowdermilk (Tracy); grandchildren, Natalie, Jennifer and Jenson Lowdermilk; and great grandchildren, Amelia and Ada.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
