Terry Lee Pickard, Sr.

Terry L. Pickard, Sr., 70, of Greensboro died Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

Memorial service will be 7:00 PM Thursday, July 26, 2018 at George Brothers Funeral Service.

A graduate of Southeast High School, Terry formerly owned and operated both Terry’s Handi-mart on Chapman Street and Terry’s Curb Market on Randleman Road. He loved camping with his family at Philpott Lake along with hunting and fishing. But most of all, he loved his grandchildren.

Terry is survived by his wife, Peggy Pickard of the home; son, Terry L. Pickard, Jr. (Chrissy) of Greensboro; daughter, Shelly Buskirk (Craig) of Belews Creek; grandchildren, Jakob, Mason, and Peyton; and aunt, Billie Harris also of Greensboro.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
