Theresa (Cacopardo) Jones

Mrs. Theresa Cacopardo Jones, 82, went Home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Wesley Long Memorial Hospital.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Midway Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Mustian officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, Pancrazio and Ada Cacopardo; son, Curtis Wayne Jones, Jr.; and step-father, Paul Frank Mancini.

Theresa was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She worked many years as a nanny to Marcel Jope, Chad Sparks, and Nicholas Finney; and also worked at Sears on Lawndale Dr.  She loved to cook and was a long time member of Midway Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Mark Jones; daughter, Ada Maysonet (Oscar); sons, Joseph Jones and Mark Timothy Jones; grandchildren, Nathan Lane Maysonet, Thomas and Ari Maysonet, Curtis Wayne Jones III, and Kayla Marie Jones; brothers, Joseph Cacopardo (Marie); sister, Grace Lambert; step-brothers, Rudy Mancini and Paul Mancini; and a host of other family members and friends whom she loved.
