Thomas Gregory Lasley

Thomas Gregory “Greg” Lasley, 57. Of Asheboro died suddenly at the home of his uncle James Brown in Staley.

A memorial gathering to celebrate his life will be from 4-6 pm Saturday, December 3, 2022 at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Greg was a graduate of Grimsley High School. He was an ASA certified mechanic for the past forty years. Greg loved to follow NASCAR and attended the races when he was younger. He loved to cook for his family and friends.

Greg is preceded in death by his parents, John and Iris Jean Lasley, Jr.

He is survived by his son, Zach Lasley of Ramseur; brother, John Lasley; sister, Laura Ann Lasley; aunt Suzanne Knight; uncle James “Sput” Brown; aunt Sybil Brown; uncle Clark Brown; and aunt Linda Pegram; niece, Caitlyn Deaton; nephews, James Douglas Brown, Ashton Deaton, and Ronnie Brown; and special friends, Michelle Hinshaw and Sandy See.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Guilford County Animal Shelter, 980 Guilford College Rd, Greensboro, NC 27409.
