Thomas Allen Wall, Jr., known to most as “T.A.”, 67, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, November 25, 2024.
T.A. was born in High Point on August 8, 1957 to the late Thomas and Peggy Wall, Sr. and grew up in Greensboro, NC. After graduating from Page High School, he went on to receive his Associate’s degree in accounting from GTCC. He has held several accounting jobs including Sears, Oakwood, and Polo Ralph Lauren.
T.A. was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved the Lord. He was a member of South Elm Street Baptist Church for 34 years where he was actively involved as the organist and treasurer. T.A. loved music and you could find him almost every Sunday morning at the organ. He also served as the bookkeeper for Alex McFarland ministries.
T.A. was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and multiple aunts and uncles. He leaves behind his wife of 37 years, Theresa; daughter, Michelle Burnette (Allen) of Hope Mills, NC; grandchildren Addison and Camden Burnette of Hope Mills, NC; brothers, Tim Wall (Cindy) of Kernersville, NC and Tony Wall (Lori) of Browns Summit, NC; nieces Kyleigh Wall and LydiaFay Wall; nephews Blake Wall (Melanie), Ethan Wall, Levi Wall, and Cameron Wall along with numerous cousins and in-laws all of which who will miss him dearly.
Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 12:00pm at South Elm Street Baptist Church with Dr. Lawrence Clapp and Reverend Allen Burnette officiating. A graveside service will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park with Tim Wall officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service at South Elm Street Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the missions fund at South Elm Street Baptist Church (www.sesbc.org/give).
