Timothy "Timmy" Osborne Smith

Mr. Timothy “Timmy” Osborne Smith, 50, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm on Friday, March 26, 2021 at George Brothers Funeral Service.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda “Sue” Thornton; and father, Julian Smith, Jr.

“Timmy” always enjoyed being outside whether it was swimming and just being at the lake, or working at his lifelong job of roofing houses.  He loved to draw and was a very accomplished tattoo artist.  He loved being around people and never met a stranger.

Mr. Smith is survived by his sisters, Tina Smith and Jennifer Thornton; Tina’s children, Savannah and Dalton Whitaker; Jennifer’s children, Jayden, Jade, and Jacob Rucinski; his “Pops”, Wolfman Thornton; aunt, Karen Yates; uncle, Clarence Stone; and a host of family members and friends whom he loved.

Following the visitation time at the funeral home the family will continue receiving friends at the home of his sister, Tina Smith, at 205 W. Acres Dr. Greensboro, NC 27405.
