Miss Veral Lee Nall was born January 26, 1938 in Tulia, Texas and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday January 21, 2025. Lee told many that she was praying to go to be with her Lord, specifically before her birthday. Her birthday is January 26, this Sunday.

Miss Lee is preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Nall Roberts and her parents, Everett Brown Nall (Montie) along with her mother, Letha Bee Campbell Nall.

Her surviving relatives are: Roger (Bud) Roberts, Jr.,  her nephew who took very good and loving care of Miss Lee, great niece and great nephew, Megan E. Roberts and Chayton A. Roberts; her niece, Rebecca Schuchart (Wayne); and her great nephew, David Schuchart.

Miss Lee was a history buff that loved to read. She also loved old war planes. Miss Lee’s house was full of books on these and other topics.

Miss Lee said, “I was saved and set free on October 27, 1968 at Gospel Baptist Church!” And she served the Lord faithfully and joyfully for fifty-five years!

Gospel Baptist Church began to support Miss Lee in 1970 as a missionary and continued to do so through her retirement. She received her training from the Child Evangelism Fellowship Institute her training from the Child Evangelism Institute, the Word of Life Bible Institute and Columbia Bible College. She was the Child Evangelism Fellowship Director for Asheboro, Randolph, Chatham, and Moore counties from 1971 to 1974 and then served in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), Africa for two years.  She began a new work in Wilmington, NC where she served for several years.  Later she served in the Middle East with Child Evangelism Fellowship for three years.

Lee resigned from Child Evangelism Fellowship and began working with Friends of Israel in 1984. A lady gave Lee a Friends of Israel magazine and then she heard a message on “How to reach the Jews” which all worked together to burden her heart for the Jews to know Jesus as their Savior. After training with Friends of Israel, she served as a representative of the Mission board, from 1984 to 2023. Lee worked with Friends of Israel in all of North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.  She wrote, “Praise the Lord for all those that claimed Messiah Jesus as their Savior!”

Miss Lee retired a year ago and wrote a note to Pastor Paul saying “I praise God for the best thirty-nine years of my life, serving with Friends of Israel and fifty-five years in the BEST CHURCH, with the BEST PEOPLE!”  In her last Christmas card, she wrote, “I am totally secure and completely content!”  To God be the glory!
