Walter Stacy Jones, Jr.

Walter Stacy Jones, Jr., 81, of Greensboro died Monday, April 22, 2024 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

Memorial service will be 4:00 PM Saturday, April 27, 2024 at George Brothers Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 3-4 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.

A native of Guilford County, Mr. Jones retired from Duke Energy after thirty-seven years of service. He loved fishing at his favorite place, Morehead City. Walter also loved working on classic cars and trucks.

He is preceded in death by his son, Walter Stacy Jones, III and grandson, Cameron Allen.

Walter is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jones; sons, Jonathan Paul Jones and William Levi Jones of the home; daughter, Tracy Lynn Strand (Steve) of Georgia; Jeff Allen (Michelle) and Ron Allen (Angel) all of Brown Summit; and daughter, Christy Harrison of South Carolina; grandson, Christian Reese Jones; twelve grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
