Wendy Jannine (Smith) Coble

Wendy Jannine Smith Coble, 64, of Greensboro passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026, at her residence.

Funeral will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 27, 2026, at George Brothers Funeral Service with burial to follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

Wendy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a mom not only to her children but to others as well. She was a hairdresser for many years until her health prevented her from working. Wendy attended Fairview Baptist Church where she served as Sunday school teacher and was the decorator for Vacation Bible School.  Mostly, she loved her grandbabies.

She will be missed but we know she is in Heaven with her father and mother, Dr. Gary and Judy Smith; sister, Kristie Smith; and the father of her children, Joseph Coble.

Wendy is survived by her children, Tony Smith (Beth) of Greensboro, Brittany  Coble (Brian) of Gibsonville, and Jordan Coble of Greensboro; brother, Keith  Smith (Tammy); brother-in-law, Troy Greene; grandchildren, Trinity Grace, Kylee Marie, Luke Anthony, Kevin, and Felecia; nieces and nephews, Meagan (Xavier), Tyler (Stephanie), Chandler (Lauren), Jonathan, Hunter (Olivia), and Mason (McKenzie); and great nieces and great nephews, Lylah, Wrenlee, and Easton.

The family will receive friends from 1-1:45 PM Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
