William "Bill" Carray Nuckles

Reverend William “Bill” Carray Nuckles, 88, of Greensboro, passed away on September 22, 2020 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service. The burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

Bill was born February 17, 1932 in Guilford County. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters and eight brothers. He was a member and elder at Cathedral of His Glory in Greensboro. He was retired from Standard Trucking as a Foreman. Bill served his county in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955.

He is survived by his wife, Gale Moore Nuckles; his daughter, Billie Bertocci; his three grandchildren, Jonathan Wagstaff, Jason Wagstaff (Angela) and Joshua Bertocci (Samantha) and his five great grandchildren, Haley, Jaden, Parker, Brooklyn and Jesse.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
