William "Harwood" West

William “Harwood” West, age 75, passed away Saturday September 16, 2023, at Wesley Long Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday at George Brothers Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Buchanan Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm to the service time.

Mr. West was born, in Guilford County, to the late William and Edna Prosser West. He was a graduate of the North Carolina School For the Blind and was the owner and operator of West Antenna Corporation for over fifty years. He was a member of Buchanan Baptist Church. 

He is survived by his best friend of thirty-two years, and wife of fourteen years Barbara West.
