Many knew Willie Britt from his produce stand of 20+ years in Brown Summit. When he "retired" he worked for Rudd Farm on Hicone Road for more than 10 years. The family still runs into people who tell them "I didn't know Willie was your Dad/Grandfather, I've know him for years. He's so sweet". Willie was known for buying new cars. He was often teased about buying “another” new car. He loved playing golf and cards (especially Rummy).
He is survived by his daughter Martha Britt; grandchildren Phillip (Joanna) and Alanna; great-grandchildren Ezra, Vance, Judah, Shiloh, and Jordan; brother Albert Britt (Jean); sister Joyce Stanton; as well as numerous family members and friends whom he loved.
