Yvonne C. Holland

Mrs. Yvonne C. Holland, 85, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Beacon Place.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Emmanuel Wesleyan Church with Pastor David Surrett officiating.  Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Yvonne was born August 16, 1936 in Gaston County to the late Yancy Harris Carter, Sr and Mary Aileen Kirby Carter. She was a member of Emmanuel Wesleyan Church and was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

Survivors include her children, Jeffrey Holland (Becky) and Ginger Riggs (Michael); grandchildren, Lexi Riggs, Morgan Payne (J.D.) and Ben Riggs; and her brothers, Harold Carter (Pam) and Sonny Carter (Jean).

The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00-1:45 pm, prior to the service at the church.
