Nancy Anne (Dennis) Bodie

Mrs. Nancy Anne Dennis Bodie, 87, went Home to be with her Lord early Friday morning on April 21, 2017 at the Hospice Home of High Point.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at George Brothers Funeral Service with her son, Dr. Darryl A. Bodie officiating.  Interment will follow at Westminster Gardens.

Mrs. Bodie was a devout Christian, dedicated wife, and loving mother who served the Lord with her whole heart.  She and her husband provided Godly advice to people from all walks of life and conducted marriage seminars in several states over the years, offering guidance and encouragement from God’s Word.  She also spoke at Christian women’s clubs throughout North Carolina.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Armand Francis Bodie; and her parents, William and Muriel Dennis.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Darryl A. Bodie (Cindy); daughter, Cherie George (Bob); daughter, Melanie Royer (Steve); nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, William A. Dennis, Jr. (Pat), Dr. David M. Dennis (Sandra), and Dr. C. Thomas Dennis (Anne); brother in law, Paul B. Bodie (Martha); and a host of family and friends whom she loved.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at George Brothers Funeral Service.
