Dear Darryl, Cherie, Melanie, and other family members,
I’m sorry this is so late, but just ran across the obituaries for your parents on the internet.
Even though it has been many years since Darryl and I were best friends in Charlotte, I still have fond memories of our times together. I especially remember Armand and Nancy and their Christian witness. Now, they are together in heaven, and we will see them again very soon.
May God continue to bless and keep all of you.

We want to offer our condolences. Armand and Nancy meant so much to us when we were together at Trinity Church. Nancy was a great example of a Godly woman as described in Proverbs 31:10-31.

Nancy was the most wonderful sister a brother could have. She constantly expressed her love for me starting from the time that I was only a few months old and she rocked me. I am so glad that we are both Christians and share the hope of spending eternity together with all those who trust in Jesus as their Savior.

I am so saddened to hear of Mrs. Bodie's death. Yet, I am overjoyed that she is now home with her Savior and Lord.
I enjoyed my time with her. As her caregiver, I learned a lot about her testimony and her joy of cooking. I now use many of her recipes.
While she is not here physically, she is with everyone who had a part in her life.
Every time I worked with her, she always made me feel so appreciated. I counted it a privilege to cook her supper and keep her company. She was an encouragement each time I visited her, and I will fondly remember how she loved her Fox News.
I am so glad our paths crossed - even if it was only for a season.
May God bless the family she leaves behind. What a role model she was...
Thank you, Mrs. Bodie, for your faithfulness to the Lord.
In Christ,
Karen Greene (Home Instead)

The Bodie's were a mentoring couple for us. I don't know that anyone has ever had a more profound effect on our walk with Christ, our marriage and the ministry. They quite simply changed the trajectory of our entire lives. They loved us and they believed in us and they pointed us to Christ in all things. Nancy was our example of all that it meant to be a godly woman! With much love, Joe and Jane

Melanie, Cherie, and Darryl:
So very sorry to hear of the passing of your precious Mother. She and your Father were major influences in my life during my time on staff at Trinity Church--such wise and Godly counsel they gave me. The Lord often brings to mind their love and wisdom. I have several copies of musical scores that your Father gave me that I still use in my college teaching on a regular basis.
May our Lord bring great comfort to you and your families as you walk through this time together. May you feel His love, peace, and joy in knowing that because He lives, they also live. Love and prayers to you all.
