My brother... from the moment we met and forever in my mind, heart, and soul you stand out among the best of friends. We may have lost touch over stretches of time after I moved to FLA, but when we did talk it lifted me up knowing that you felt the same. I'm at a loss for words, but I know you are now in peace and a part of you carry's on your immortal glow in Noah. If I had any clue it may have been the only thing that could get me back to to Greensboro. I'll never forget the moments we shared... tommy-boy

Words cannot describe how heartbroken I am. My prayers for Christina and Noah to have peace in their hearts during this time. Doug was such a special man and he will be greatly missed by anyone that was lucky enough to know him. He will forever have a special place in my heart.

My thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy to Christina, Noah and the family. I had the pleasure of knowing Doug for 21 years. Doug was my employer for many years, as well as a dear friend. It was because of Doug's generosity and kind heart , that I survived being a single mother . I was a witness to Doug's unselfishness, as I saw him do so many things, for so many people. He will be forever in my heart and truly missed . Thanks again, Doug ! The girls and I have always loved you !

All my prayers go out to the family. I went to school with Doug all through middle and part of high school. I remember Doug as a fast runner, so I know he will be running to the arms of Jesus where he will be safe and secure.
