Pete Bush was my friend. He and I were in the same Fire Dept training class in 1963. Pete was a good man and good fireman. I pray that God's Grace will be with the family in this time of need. Only God can see you through these times. Joe Brown

I am so sorry to hear of Pete's death. He was a wonderful insurance agent to our family and I know a cherished father to you. Cynthia, I will be thinking and praying for you as we have gotten to know each other through insurance. Billy, I will be thinking of you and am glad that we have gotten to know each other better through work. May God Bless your mother and comfort each of you in the coming days.

So sorry to hear of Pete's passing. From days as classmates and teammates at Lees-McRae College, I have known him to be the best of friends and men of my life experience. For all his friends in the grand old Class of 1959, I need and want to say "Farewell" to a special guy, whose humor, kindness and loyalty will be sorely missed.

Brenda, Cynthia and Billy and families

My heart is breaking so bad for you right now. I adored Pete and revered him as a Christian man. No words I could ever say, nothing I could ever do can ease the grief you feel. I treasure each moment I shared with Pete. From the rides to and from the airports when dad and I visited, to the rides he and I took to church, I will treasure the moments I shared with him . He never judged me, he loved me and I loved him and each one of you. Now daddy has another family member to keep him company. If heaven has a tv I am quite sure its on fox news and the O'Reilly factor. Truly a servant of the Lord. May God keep you close at this most difficult time. Love you all.
