Laura, I had no idea your mom died. I was trying to reach you to tell you that Aunt Barbara died on Saturday and I hope you know Aunt Sybil died about two weeks before your mom. Martha was a wonderful aunt.

Laura and family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Doug and I worked with Martha when Doug first got out of law school in 1981-82. Martha worked with Rick Murray and I worked with my husband. These were the days of the old IBM typewriters. Martha taught me how to make perfect corrections so that the document looked as pristine as if printing from a computer. She had lots of tips to help a young lawyer. She was such a gracious lady. Martha would get to work before me, make a perfect pot of coffee and we would sit down, drink our coffee, and chat away. She talked about you a lot and she was very proud of you and your brother. It was surely an honor for both Doug and me to know and work with your mom. I hope your many memories will stay with you always and help you at this difficult time. Jan and Doug Harris

Dear Laura, Hannah and Molly,
Ray & I are sadden to learn of the passing of Martha, your dear mother and grandmother.
She was a great and very special lady who truly loved her family. We are both grateful to have met her, to us a very sweet and gentle lady.
