Naoma Waddell Lewis
February 3, 1936 ~ January 4, 2017 (age 80) 80 Years OldMrs. Naoma W. Lewis, 80, went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Westchester Manor in High Point.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Shannon Hills Bible Chapel with Mark Shelley officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Naoma was born February 3, 1936 in Wilkes County to the late Millard and Alda Lucinda Blackburn Waddell.
She was a member of Shannon Hills Bible Chapel and retired from DAPHA Ltd. after 20 years of service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Doughton Lewis, Sr.; a brother, Samuel Harris and a sister, Lucille Waddell.
Survivors include her daughter, Lucinda “Cindy” Walker and husband Kevin of High Point; her son Kermit “Kerry” Doughton Lewis, Jr. of Greensboro; 2 sisters, Anne Mae Anderson and husband James of Rural Hall and Earline Cottle and husband Carey, Sr. of Greensboro; and 1 brother, E.J. Waddell and wife Judy of Roaring River.
