Message from Terry McCraw

I wanted to extend my heartfelt sympathy to Carl and Susan as well as all family members on the passing of Owen. He and Becky were the epitome of what a marriage should be, what loving parents should be, what a good neighbor should be, and what a brother and sister in Christ should be. I am truly grateful for what Mr. B did for me through Scouting, and I will never forget all of the fun times we had as a group of young men under his insightful leadership. When one looks at the number of young men who obtained the rank of Eagle under his leadership, it is truly wonderful. My life has certainly been enhanced by Mr. B, and I know many others, whether in Scouting or not, feel the same way. I am very appreciative of the love and support which both he and Becky extended to my parents over the years as well. It seems that when we grow into adulthood, have families, and move away, it is more difficult to stay in touch. However, the warm and fond memories will always be a reminder of the joys of growing up in the Rehobeth community with friends and relatives including Owen, Becky, Carl, and Susan. I hope that Carl and Susan can take comfort in knowing that Owen and Becky both lived long and happy lives together and were such a positive influence to so many, including myself, over the years. I truly hate that Sammie and I will be unable to attend the funeral; however, our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Thanks again Mr. B for all of the support and memories which will always reside with me. God is with you and may you rest in peace with your loving wife, Becky.
