Reverend Karry “Tater” Edward Maynard, 44, of Randleman, passed away February 19, 2017.

A memorial gathering will be held from 6-9:00pm Wednesday at George Brothers Funeral Service.

He was owner & founder of Maynard’s Heating and AC Services, Inc. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, pawpaw and uncle. Karry enjoyed cooking and grilling “Grill Master” and entertaining. He was a hard worker and provided for his family and friends. No matter what the cause, he would stop everything and go to the rescue. He loved his Native American Heritage and was very proud of his background. He was very active in his church, Trindale Community Church. He enjoyed participating in programs like the Easter Drama and Eternity’s Crossing. As a Reverend, he has united several couples in marriage and provided support to anyone that needed it. Karry had a big heart for others. He always put God first, family and others before himself. He was very compassionate and will be missed by everyone.

He was preceded in death by his son, Harley; nephew, Anthony Wayne Goins; sister, Kathy Maynard Simmons and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lynn and Maurice Cooley.

Karry is survived by the love of his life and soul mate of 26 years, Teresa “Teri” Maynard; daughter, Brooke Allred and son-in-law, Tyler; granddaughter, McKayla Allred; daughter, Christina Maynard; brother-in-law, Jay and his wife, Tonya and nephew, Dylan Cooley; his parents, Susan Maynard and Bob Maynard, Sr.; sister, Kim Maynard Goins and brother-in-law, Reverend Tony Goins; great niece, Summer Rain Goins; niece, Angela Goins Resignalo and husband, Josh Resignalo; great niece, Shaelyn Dawn Resignalo; great nephew, Caleb Anthony Resignalo; brother, Bobby Ray Maynard, Jr. and sister-in-law, Kim; niece, Brennan Maynard and nephew, Bryson Maynard.
