I just found out about Madelyn's passing. She was such a wonderful, gentle spirit. I loved having her in my life. It was like she was my cousin instead of Mike's cousin. Now she can rejoice in heaven with Mike and April. May God comfort you as I know you were a comfort to her.

Life is like a mist, appears for just a day, then disappears tomorrow, all that we are can quickly fade away, replace with tears and sorrow. If a man should die, can he live again, hear the promise, that God has made. He will call, the dead will answer, they shall live at his command.

Comely are the gray headed ones, found in ways of right, beautiful are faithful ones, in Jehovah's sight. May we always remember that they were young to, and they always did their best, when their strength was new. Now their race is won, accept them in your memory, and one day tell them; "Well Done."!!!

Robert, your mom was the most fiercest yet fairest competitor I've ever known. I had the privilege of playing for Al Angels for many years and no matter the outcome of a game, Madelyn was always gracious. She never complained, played hurt many times, but always gave it her all. My thoughts and prayers have been and will continue to lift up you and your family. May God's grace shine down on you and give you peace and comfort that you will see her again some day. She will be missed.

Serving as your hospice volunteer was such a privilege and one of the most rewarding things I have done. Thank you for letting me visit with Madelyn. I loved giving her a spa day and hearing about all of her adventures!

I played softball with and against Madelyn for years in the BAU. I looked up to her as a pitcher and an example of a Christian athlete. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. My prayers are with your family and I know that I will see her again one day.

I am proud to call you my mother-in-law. I will miss you so very much, and I already miss you now. I am so used to looking in your room and seeing you in there, it seems weird and hurts not seeing you now. I love you and rest in peace... Michelle Miller
