The following Goods and Services are available to our customers. You may choose the items you wish. However, all funeral arrangements will include a fee for our basic services and administrative costs. If any items are required by law or other regulations, and you did not request them, we will provide a written explanation in the statement detailing the funeral goods and services you have selected.

"A New Generation Embracing Traditional Values"

Basic Service Fee - $2,695.00

This fee includes, but is not limited to, our staff responding to the initial request for services. The arrangement conference with family at our funeral home or your residence. Preparation and filing of the necessary authorizations and permits. Preparation of various veterans’ papers and applications when needed. Preparation and filing for life insurance benefits. Recording vital statistics. Preparation and placement of obituary notices both in and out of town. Coordinating with the cemetery, crematory, and other third parties. Use of Register stand, extra chairs, and floral door spray, when requested. Overhead expenses relative to daily operations such as insurance, maintenance, and utility expenses, along with secretarial and administrative costs, taxes, and licenses. Note: This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremation, anatomical donation, immediate burial, and forwarding or receiving of remains.)

Care of Deceased

Transfer of Remains - $550.00

Includes one or more staff members and vehicle used to transfer the body to the funeral home from the place of death and filing the “Notification of Death” with the local county Health Department.

Embalming - $975.00

The art of disinfecting, restoring, and temporarily preserving the deceased human body for private or public viewing. If performed, this procedure must be performed by a licensed funeral professional. Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Other Care of Remains

1. Sanitary care, dressing, cosmetic restoration, hair styling, and placement in a casket or alternative container. - $380.00
2. Washing and disinfecting of unembalmed remains. - $455.00
3. Cosmetic restoration of unembalmed remains. - $115.00

Use of Facilities, Staff, and Equipment

Visitation - $585.00

Use of facilities and staff for visitation in any facility, including the funeral home.

Funeral Service - $585.00

Use of facilities and staff for funeral ceremony in our chapel or other facility, along with escort and supervision of the committal service.

Graveside Service - $585.00

Use of equipment and staff for graveside service, including escorting remains, supervision of service, supervision of closing the grave, and assuring the respectful neatness of the gravesite.

Chapel Memorial Service - $585.00

Use of facilities and staff in supervising a memorial service in our facility.

Memorial Service - $585.00

Use of facilities and staff in supervising a memorial service in another facility.

Chapel Rental (not including disposition) - $995.00

Use of facilities and staff only in supervising a memorial service in our facility, when George Brothers Funeral Service did not handle the disposition of remains. This charge does not include memorial portrait, service bulletins, memorial video, submission of obituary, organist, or soloist.

Use of Staff Vehicles: Hearse - $315.00

 Use of staff and hearse for local transportation of remains.

8 Passenger Family Car - $315.00

 Use of staff and limousine for local transportation of family.

Other Available Services: Forwarding of Remains - $2,595.00

Our charge includes minimum services of funeral director and staff, transfer of remains to the funeral home, embalming and appropriate care of remains, and local transportation to the airport. This charge does not include an air tray or combo shipping container.

Receiving of Remains - $1,995.00

Our charge includes minimum services of funeral director and staff, local transfer of remains to the funeral home, and transportation to local cemetery. This charge does not include any other goods or services.

Immediate Burial - $2,895.00 to $9,800.00

Our charge (without ceremony) is limited to the minimum services of funeral director and staff, transfer of remains to the funeral home, and local transportation of remains to the cemetery. This charge does not allow for any supervision of ceremony, embalming or other care of remains, visitation, vehicles, register book, acknowledgement cards, cemetery tent, or grave equipment such as artificial grass and chairs.

1. Immediate burial with casket/container provided by the purchaser. - $2,895.00
2. Immediate burial with the Kinsey casket. - $4,240.00
3. Immediate burial with casket purchased at funeral home. (Plus cost of casket.) - $9,800.00

Direct Cremation - $2,495.00 to $3,370.00

Our cremation charge is limited to the minimum services of the funeral director and staff, local transfer of remains to the funeral home, transfer of remains to the crematory, and the crematory fee. This fee does not include care of the deceased for viewing, supervision of ceremony or memorial service, urn, cremation container, or any other additional goods or services. These and other items may be selected and added to our direct cremation charge. (If applicable, a $50 fee will be required by the Medical Examiner.) If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composite materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are:

1. Direct cremation with container provided by purchaser - $2,495.00
2. Direct cremation with a basic cremation container. ($25) - $2,520.00
3. Direct cremation with memorial insert. ($875.00) - $3,370.00

Anatomical Donation - $1,395.00

Our charges include minimum services of funeral director and staff, local transfer of remains to the funeral home, and local transfer of remains to the receiving anatomical donation recipient. (Within 75 miles.)

Infant and Child Services: Basic services of funeral director and staff, supervision of church, chapel, or graveside service, grave canopy, register book, acknowledgement cards, service bulletins, and preparing the body for viewing (including embalming) are all offered at no cost to the family. This service does not include charges for casket, vault, urn, obituary fees, certified death certificates, or crematory fee, family car, etc. Please note that this service is reserved for child-size caskets, child-size vaults, or child crematory fees, regardless of age.

Memorial Video - $150.00 (Included in our charge for Funeral, Graveside or Memorial Service) Additional copies of memorial video are $10 each

Memorial Portrait - $125.00 (Included in our charge for Funeral or Memorial Service)

Organist - $50.00 (Included in our charge for Funeral or Memorial Service)

Soloist - $50.00 (Included in our charge for Funeral or Memorial Service)

Obituary Laminations (each) - $4.00 (5 included in our charge for Funeral, Graveside or Memorial Service)

Additional Mileage (per mile, one way, after 75 miles) - $2.75

Equipment for Inurnment Service - $250.00 (Tent, chairs, artificial grass, urn stand, and register stand)

Air Tray - $215.00 (Used for human remains being shipped in a casket)

Combo Shipping Container - $215.00 (Used for human remains not being shipped in a casket)

Insert for Memorial Cremation Casket - $875.00

Processing of International Shipping Paperwork - $295.00

Outer Burial Container Price List: In most areas of the country, state or local laws do not require that you purchase a container to surround the casket in the grave. However, many cemeteries require that you have such a container. Either a grave liner or a burial vault will satisfy these requirements. These prices are effective as of February 19, 2026. Patrician - $3,115.00 Lustra-Tech-lined concrete vault. 100-year warranty.

Lydian - $6,710.00 Fiberlon and copper-lined concrete vault. 150-year warranty.
