The Goods and Services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must purchase any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

Basic Service Fee
This fee includes but is not limited to:
Our Staff to respond to initial request for services.The arrangement conference with family at our funeral home or your residence.Preparation and filing the necessary authorizations and permits.Preparation of various veterans’ papers and applications when needed.Preparation and filing for life insurance benefits.Recording vital statistics.Preparation and placement of obituary notices both in and out of town.Coordinating with the cemetery, crematory, and other third parties.Use of Register stand, extra chairs, and floral door spray, when requested.Overhead expenses relative to daily operations such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, along with secretarial and administrative costs, taxes, and licenses.
Note: This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremation, anatomical donation, immediate burial, and forwarding or receiving of remains.)

Care of Deceased
Transfer of Remains
Includes one or more staff members and vehicle used to transfer the body to the funeral home from the place of death and filing the “Notification of Death” with local county Health Department.

Embalming
The art of disinfecting, restoring, and temporarily preserving the deceased human body for private or public viewing. If performed, this procedure must be performed by a licensed funeral professional.
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Forwarding Of Remains
Our charge includes minimum services of funeral director and staff, transfer of remains to the funeral home, embalming and appropriate care of remains, and local transportation to the airport. This charge does not include an air tray or combo shipping container.

Immediate Burial
Our charge (without ceremony) is limited to the minimum services of funeral director and staff, transfer of remains to the funeral home, and local transportation of remains to the cemetery. This charge does not allow for any supervision of ceremony, embalming or other care of remains, visitation, vehicles, register book, acknowledgement cards, cemetery tent, or grave equipment such as artificial grass and chairs.

Direct Cremation

Our cremation charge is limited to the minimum services of the funeral director and staff, local transfer of remains to the funeral home, transfer of remains to the crematory, and the crematory fee. This fee does not include care of the deceased for viewing, supervision of ceremony or memorial service, urn, cremation container or any other additional goods or services. These and other items may be selected and added to our direct cremation charge. (If applicable, a $50 fee will be required by the Medical Examiner.)
If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or compositions materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are:

Anatomical Donation

Infant and Child Services
Basic services of funeral director and staff, supervision of church, chapel or graveside service, grave canopy, register book, acknowledgement cards, service bulletins, preparing the body for viewing (including embalming), are all offered at no cost to the family. This service does not include charges for casket, vault, urn, obituary fees, certified death certificates or crematory fee, family car, etc.
Please note that this service is reserved for child size caskets, child size vaults or child crematory fees, regardless of age.

In most areas of the country, sate or local laws do not require that you purchase a container to surround the casket in the grave. However, many cemeteries require that you have such a container.
