Marjorie Jean (Eschenbach) Lilly

Mrs. Marjorie Lilly, 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at her home.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at George Brothers Funeral Service with Paul Byrd officiating.

Mrs. Lilly was employed with Carolina Steel which later became Hirschfeld Industries where she retired after 26 years of service.  She was a member of Clifton Rd. Baptist Church. Her sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the loves of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Margaret Eschenbach; sisters, Barbara Sponer and Joan Drakulic; mother-in-law-, Bonnie Lilly; and sister-in-law, Velma Lilly.

Marjorie is survived by her husband of 51 years, Joe Lilly; son, Rick Lilly (Laura), of Greensboro; son, Scott Lilly (DeeAnna), of Kernersville; grandchildren,  Melissa, Michael, Joseph, Alyssa, and Gavin; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends whom she loved.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5:30-6:30 at George Brothers Funeral Service prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to your local Hospice facility.
