Mrs. Hazel Dismukes Brown
July 10, 1925 ~ May 29, 2017 (age 91) 91 Years OldMrs. Hazel Dismukes Brown, age 91, went home to be with Jesus on Monday May 29,2017 at Moses Cone Hospital.
A funeral service will be 2:00pm Thursday at George Brothers Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm -2:00pm Thursday at George Brothers Funeral Service.
Mrs. Brown was a member of Sophia Baptist Church, and retired from Bell South Telephone Company after 27 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Annie Burns Dismukes, four sisters, five brothers, and husband Bill Brown.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her children David Burke (Carol) of Greensboro, John Burke (Linda) of Greensboro, and Donna Brooks (Glen) of Randleman. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
