Mr. Paul Alton King

Paul Alton King, 93, passed away at Moses Cone Hospital, Wednesday, May 10, 2017. 

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017 at McConnell Road Baptist Church with Mark Ridge officiating.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. 

Paul was born October 26, 1923 to the late Carl Ellington and Ethel Busick King.  He was a member of Rankin Baptist Church, a Men’s Quartet, and played the trumpet.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Charles Lee King, and sister, Gladys Opal King. 

Survivors include his sister, Peggy King Greeson; brother, Claude King; niece, Amy Greeson (Brandon Jones); two great-nieces, Ashlynn Greeson and Kendall Jones; and great-nephew, Noah Greeson, all of Greensboro.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service on Friday, at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro NC 27405.
