Paul S. Causey

Mr. Paul S. Causey, 85, of Greensboro, went peacefully home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 15, 2017, surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Wednesday at Vandalia Baptist Church with Pastor Donnie Oates officiating. The burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

Paul was born December 14, 1931, in Greensboro to the late Henry C. and Nellie J. Causey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six siblings. He was retired from Sears Interstate United after 30 years of service and also owned and operated Causey Refrigeration. He faithfully attended Vandalia Baptist Church and proudly served his country for twelve years in the Army Reserves.

He was a loving, devoted husband and father and is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Causey of Greensboro; daughter, Lorrie Varner (Wayne) of Randleman; son, Ron Causey of Greensboro; grandson, Cody Cox (Logan) of Lexington and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm Tuesday at George Brothers Funeral Service.
